Amari had a great day! We sang "Happy Birthday" to her first thing, she ate all her favorite foods all day, played with her friends in the morning, and LOVED getting her first balloons. She played, napped and then played more in the afternoon. Amari tried walking on her own more throughout the day too! Her first steps were last Friday! She also walked a lot with me holding her hands. We read books, still her all-time favorite activity, and then... Daddy came home! YAY! After hugs and kisses she showed off her new walking efforts to Daddy. Then it was onto dinner and cake! Amari's eye's lit up and she giggled when she saw the cake. She knew it was to eat though she'd never had it before! She loved it and opening her presents. There will soon be video and more complete pictures in the slideshows above.
